The woman at the centre of Jules and Lachie Neale’s marriage breakdown is refusing to let the drama ruin her festive season.

Tess Crosley – who became embroiled in the saga after it was reported she fell out with Jules amid an “unimaginable betrayal” within the Neales’ marriage – shared photos of herself on Boxing Day kicking back in a bikini and a cowboy hat while on a serene getaway with her young son.

Poolside snaps and sweeping hinterland views painted the picture of a relaxing escape in Northern NSW with a number of other women and their children.

Interestingly, Crosley, a practising Morman, shared the Instagram gallery alongside the song Burn, Burn, Burn by Zach Bryan, which talks about reconnecting with the simple things in life and living authentically with few but genuine friendships.

Lyrics include the line: “My exes hate me and my friends all miss me, I wanna drown in rot gut whiskey, leave this small town for awhile.”

Later Bryan sings: “[I want] few good friends I can count on one of my hands.

“I wanna feel it all, joy, pain, and sky… We all burn, burn, burn and then die.”

Crosley’s husband Ben, whom she married in 2017, does not appear in any of the images shared on Friday or others shared on Christmas Day. Another detail noticeably absent is Crosley’s wedding ring.

Comments have been turned off on the post.

Social media posts this week suggested Jules and Crosley are not on speaking terms, with Jules telling Crosley to delete photos on Instagram that showed her with Brisbane Lions star Lachie following his team’s grand final win.

“Take these (pictures) down, you idiot you’re embarrassing yourself,’’ Jules wrote, in a comment that has since been deleted.

As of Friday, pictures of the Neales spending time with Crosley and her husband, including the celebrations that followed the Lions’ grand final win, remain on Crosley’s Instagram and TikTok pages.

However, the former friends no longer follow each other on Instagram.

There is no suggestion of wrongdoing on Crosley’s part.

Jules has also wiped two-time Brownlow Medal winner Lachie from her Instagram page, with all photos of the pair deleted.

Jules earlier suggested her marriage could not be reconciled following what she described as being “betrayed in the most unimaginable way” in an explosive post on Friday.

That came after it was reported she and Lachie were “working through” private issues.

Jules responded by writing: “I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything. I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

“All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children.

“Thank you for the love and support. Jules x.”

Crosley, Lachie and the Brisbane Lions are all yet to make a public comment.

Moving trucks were reportedly seen at the Neales’ home in Brisbane last week and her latest post suggests Jules has travelled back to Western Australia to spend time with her family during the Christmas period.

On Tuesday, Jules posted an Instagram story of Busselton Jetty, south of Perth. The photo of the stunning summer setting was accompanied by a heart mending emoji.

Jules and Lachie share two children, four-year-old Piper and a son Freddie, who was born in December 2024.

She celebrated her son’s first birthday last week with a series of photos shared with her Instagram followers.

The 32-year-old footballer did not feature in any of the photos.
