The shooting occurred just after 11:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Drexel Avenue.

The man was sitting inside a vehicle when two male suspects approached in a white Mercedes, according to Chicago police. An argument ensued, and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired at the victim.

The man was struck in the chest and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

The victim was shot in the chest and transported to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced deceased, authorities said.

No other injuries were reported.
