Two men have died after being swept off the rocks while fishing at a remote NSW beach.

Emergency crews were called to Little Beach at Bouddi National Park, on NSW’s Central Coast, about 4.20pm on Saturday after beachgoers spotted a man floating in the water.

“Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District, PolAir and Marine Area Command attended the scene, alongside NSW Ambulance Paramedics, and Marine Rescue NSW volunteers,” NSW Police said.

Rescuers managed to pull a 46-year-old man from the water but he sadly died at the scene.

Just after 6pm, police were told a second man was still in the water with a search operation commencing shortly after.

About 8pm, the body of a second man, aged 67, was found and pulled from the water.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Surf Life Saving NSW confirmed the two men were rock fishermen.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Little Beach is accessed via a remote 750m gravel track in the Bouddi National Park.
