Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin has hit back at any speculation his chemistry with celeb partner Amber Davies spills over off-screen – as he was pictured kissing her boyfriend on the head.

The 27-year-old Ukrainian dancer was papped jokingly planting a kiss on Amber’s boyfriend Ben Joyce in an Instagram story post the former Love Island winner shared over the weekend encouraging fans to vote for her and Nikita.

In the caption, 29-year-old Amber wrote: “10 minutes left to vote guys. Please vote!” And Amber’s plan seemed to have worked as her and Nikita scored an impressive 38 points for their dazzling disco-infused salsa to ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ by Sylvester.

This put them in second place on the leaderboard behind Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington, who topped the board for the very first time with their tango to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Fate of Ophelia.’

It comes after Nikita was spotted kissing Amber on the head in a similar fashion last month as reports claimed their chemistry had ‘raised eyebrows’ and there was an ‘undeniable spark’ between them.

But both stars have long-term partners, with Amber dating fellow West End star boyfriend Ben since they met on the set of Back to the Future: The Musical in 2022. While Nikita has been dating model girlfriend Lauren Jaine, 24, since 2023.

And it’s said that kissing people on the head is just a way that Nikita greets those nearest and dearest to him, so it’s nothing untoward.

As well as her growing friendship with Strictly pro Nikita, Amber has also revealed how she has become good pals with his girlfriend Lauren.

She told The Sun: “I love Lauren Nikita’s girlfriend so much. I text her all the time. All day, every day. Lauren spends more time with me than her fella. She actually came into my dressing room before she went to see Nikita [the other day]. I have stolen her.”

Hitting back at the dreaded ‘Strictly curse’ rumours, Amber said boyfriend Ben is ‘not arsed’, adding: “So I feel like I can brush it off as it is not affecting us in any way, which is nice. I mean he is horizontal Ben.”

Putting on a united front over the weekend, Amber shared more pics with beau Ben on her Instagram grid, including one of him kissing her on the cheek on the Strictly set and another of them sharing a hug.

The West End star – who is about to take on the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical – gushed: “I couldn’t do any of this without you by my side @benj0yce. Thank you for going above and beyond every single day, picking me up when I’m down and being the loudest cheerleader when we celebrate.”

Loved up Amber continued: “Always dinner on the table after rehearsals & extra plasters ready when my feet need them.

“I am genuinely the luckiest girl in the world and I don’t tell you enough how thankful I am, I have won in life with you. I love you with all my heart.”
