Host Maya Jama looked sensational in a black and white plunging dress as she told fans that Millie and Zac were the runners up.

TV insiders previously said that this year’s final would be the closest ever call.

But, fans were not happy by the revelation that Samie and Ciaran had won and they took to social media to brand the results “rigged.”

The winning couple had a plain sailing journey in the South African villa and fans barely saw their relationship play out on their screens.

When they were crowned the winners, viewers were completely baffled.

One fan wrote on X: “Love Island is rigged. The f**K you mean Samie and Ciaran won?????? Who even voted for them… bye I can’t believe this.”

Another viewer said: “THIS S**T IS SOOO RIGGED ?? you’re telling me the 2 driest people won love island all stars..”

A third fan added: “Nah Love Island rigged the votes wdym Samie and Ciaran won.”

Meanwhile, a fourth fan wrote: “Nah love island is rigged???? Lucinda 4th place???”

During the show’s finale, Samie, 26, and Welshman Ciaran were up against four other couples.

They beat fellow finalists Scott Van der Sluis and Leanne Amaning who came in third place and Lucinda Strafford and Sean Stone, who were revealed in fourth place.

Meanwhile, Whitney Adebayo and Yamen Sanders finished fifth.

Talking ahead of their win, Ciaran, 23, admitted he was smitten, following Samie’s arrival, knowing “she was a bit of me”.

Samie agreed that while other male bombshells kept arriving, none of them swayed her head or heart like Ciaran did.

She said: “No offence to anyone who came in but they didn’t even touch the sides compared to Ciaran.”

During the final week, Samie and Ciaran made their romance ‘exclusive’ in the villa.

Despite a brief recoupling with Lucinda, after she came in as a bombshell, the pair remained one of the villa’s strongest couples.
