💔 “HE WALKED OUT WEARING THAT JACKET… AND NEVER CAME HOME” — DESPERATE SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD BATON ROUGE BOY
A Louisiana family is living every parent’s worst nightmare as the search intensifies for 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather, who has been missing for days and has not been heard from since June 5.
Authorities in Baton Rouge have now issued an urgent public appeal, asking residents to help locate the teenager as concern for his safety continues to grow with each passing hour.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Ja’Derrius was last seen by family members on June 5. Since then, there has been no confirmed contact with the teenager, leaving loved ones desperate for answers and fearing the worst.

Investigators have released a physical description in hopes that someone may recognize him. Police say Ja’Derrius stands approximately 5 feet tall and weighs just under 100 pounds.
But one particular detail has become especially important to his family.
Relatives revealed that the jacket visible in the photograph released by authorities is the exact jacket Ja’Derrius was wearing when he disappeared.
For his family, that jacket has become more than just an item of clothing.
It is now one of the last known clues connected to the teenager’s whereabouts.
“Please look carefully,” loved ones are urging. “Someone may have seen him and not realized it.”
As search efforts continue, family members say they refuse to give up hope that Ja’Derrius will be found safe.
Friends and community members have begun sharing his photograph across social media platforms, hoping that increased visibility will generate new leads for investigators.
Police say even the smallest piece of information could prove critical.
A witness who remembers seeing a teenager matching his description, a driver who noticed someone wearing the distinctive jacket, or anyone who may have encountered him after June 5 could potentially help investigators piece together what happened.
The disappearance has sent shockwaves through the Baton Rouge community, with many residents expressing concern for the young teenager and his family.
Every day that passes without answers only deepens the anguish for those who know and love him.
For now, investigators continue following leads while urging the public to remain vigilant.
Anyone who believes they may have information regarding Ja’Derrius Minnieweather’s whereabouts is encouraged to immediately contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
His family says they are holding onto hope and praying for the phone call that will finally bring him home.
Until then, they have one simple message:
Please share his photo.
Please remember his face.
And please help bring Ja’Derrius home.
