I’m A Celebrity viewers have pointed out a significant hurdle surrounding Aitch’s budding new jungle romance. The Manchester rapper, 25, has recently opened up about his “soft spot” for fellow campmate and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, 34.

He openly shared his feelings with close mate Angry Ginge during Friday evening’s episode. Despite Shona being single after recently ending her engagement I’m A Celeb viewers have spotted a glaring problem.

They believe the nine-year age gap between the duo could prove problematic. Concerns were sparked when fellow campmate and late arrival Vogue Williams suggested they were the “same age”.

One viewer posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Did I hear Vogue say that Shona and Aitch are the same age? ? ? ? ? Shona is 34 and Aitch is 25.”

Another commented: “Vogue saying Aitch is the same age as Shona… she’s 34 he’s 25. Not quite.” A third ask: “Did Vogue say Aitch and Shona are the same age? Only 10 years apart like.” Another wrote: “Aitch and Shona are not the same age though.”

The moment happened during Friday’s episode when Ginge and Aitch chose to take a dip at the creek – giving them a chance to privately chat about their fellow contestants.

Aitch opened up to Ginge about something that had been weighing on his thoughts, revealing: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

Ginge responded: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean yeah..” Aitch confirmed: “Yeah that’s what I mean.”

Ginge nodded in agreement: “Yeah she is.” Earlier in the programme, newcomers Vogue and Tom had been discussing the potential pairing.

Vogue observed: “Her and Aitch are single now.” Tom enthused: “They would make a gorgeous pair.” Vogue pointed out: “They’re the same age,” whilst Tom chimed in: “They both have those bright, bright blue eyes.” Vogue chuckled whilst adding: “And they both love music.”

Despite Aitch opening up about his secret crush on the EastEnders star it has been reported that the award-winning rapper has a secret girlfriend that not many people know about.

According to The Sun, the couple have been together since the beginning of the year and have even been on a romantic break together.

Back in May, a source said: “Aitch has been dating Lois for a couple of months, but they’ve recently been getting more serious. He took her away on a trip to New York – just the two of them. They’ve also introduced each other to family and friends.”

She is said to be fond of designer clothes and loves to look stylish, but Aitch has never posted her on his social media as they want to keep their relationship under wraps.

According to the source, her Instagram is also private and she’s removed her profile picture from her account, “although you can see he follows her”.
