A 46-YEAR-OLD tourist has been arrested after the body of a 17-year-old girl was found stuffed in a suitcase and dumped by train tracks.
Simon Carman, 45, was cuffed after footage showed a man matching his description wheeling a black suitcase out of a Thai hotel just hours after he checked in alongside teen Tunchanok Donhomla.

Carman allegedly picked up Tunchanok from the Beach Road vice strip in Pattaya in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The Australian was arrested later that day as he tried to board a flight at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Police launched a manhunt for Carman after they found a body stuffed into a suitcase.
Cops identified the girl as Tunchanok and retraced her last known location which was at the hotel.

They scoured CCTV footage and saw the teen holding hands with a man as he led her to a room under Carman’s name.
Inside, police found signs of a fight and blood splattered across the floor.
Further CCTV from Thursday showed Carman leaving the hotel with a black suitcase.
It matched the bag where Tunchanok’s body was found just 10 minutes from the hotel, police said.

Video showed the man riding a motorbike with a suitcase strapped to the back.
He sped alongside the railway tracks before disappearing from view for nine minutes.
Separate footage showed him returning to his hotel without the bag.
The Aussie tourist is now being questioned on suspicion of murder but denies having any involvement.
Carman has already been charged with “taking a minor for the purpose of committing an indecent act”, cops said.
He was allegedly covered in scratch marks on his arms and neck when he was arrested.
Police boss Anek Sarathongyu said: “We believe he killed her, and he is being questioned on suspicion of murder.”
Police Colonel Sarathongyu added: “The victim went to the hotel room with the suspect, but she was not seen leaving.
“Then, later, the Australian came out with a suitcase.
“The victim was found dead inside the same suitcase. She was completely naked.
“The cameras show that nobody else entered the room. There were signs of a struggle inside.
“Although the foreign man denies killing her, we do not believe him. The evidence that he killed her is extremely strong.”

“We will interrogate him to discover what happened and how she died. We want to know why he killed her. He will be prosecuted according to the law.”
Murder carries the death penalty or life in prison in Thailand.
