Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones is mourning the sudden loss of his daughter Victoria.

The 34-year-old was found dead at the luxurious Fairmont San Francisco hotel in California on New Year’s Day, TMZ reported.

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department told the US media outlet units responded to the hotel for a reported medical emergency at 2.52am.

“Upon arrival paramedics conducted an assessment, and the individual was pronounced dead at the scene,” TMZ said.

“We’re told the scene was turned over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.”

Jones has yet to comment publicly on the tragic news of his daughter’s passing.

Victoria was born to Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.

She briefly followed in her father’s footsteps, making her acting debut in 2002’s Men in Black II before she was a teenager.

She later appeared in One Tree Hill in 2003 and in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in 2005, a film directed by her father.

Jones, an Oscar-winning actor, took home the Best Supporting Actor award for The Fugitive in 1993.

Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has become known for his performances in films such as JFK, the Men in Black series, No Country for Old Men, Lincoln, The Client and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which he also directed.

He remains one of Hollywood’s most respected actors.
