Two men and a woman have been charged with murder after a man plunged 15 metres from a fourth-storey balcony and suffered critical injuries.

Residents said they heard frantic cries for help coming from an apartment on Crane Road in Castle Hill during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Paramedics found a 44-year-old man with critical injuries in a garden area outside the unit block in Sydney‘s north-west about 2.40am.

The man was treated at the scene, but could not be revived.

It’s understood a party was being hosted inside the apartment before the fatal fall, but by the time police officers arrived, the guests had left.

It’s believed the man did not live at the unit.

A 38-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested this week and charged with murder.

The 38-year-old man faced Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
