Cat Deeley was left stunned after Peter Kay called her out for an interview habit in the middle of a live chat on This Morning – leaving fans thrilled.
The presenter, who co-hosts the ITV daytime series alongside Ben Shephard, was joined by the comedian to discuss his tour, Better Late Than Never.
Peter, 52, opened up on his decision to donate all the money made from the tour to a series of cancer charities as he sat down with Cat, 49, and Ben, 50.
He went on to list all of the 12 charities the money would go to on the tour, which has been extended for even more dates after first starting in 2022.
Among the charities listed were the Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer UK and Prostate Cancer UK.
But as the comic was listing of the names, written down on a piece of paper so he could remember their names, he let out a chuckle in Cat’s direction as he noticed she kept responding ‘yes’ to each charity name.

The presenter, who co-hosts the ITV daytime series alongside Ben Shephard , was joined by comedian Peter Kay to discuss his tour, Better Late Than Never
‘My tour has been on a while,’ he told the hosts. ‘I am doing extra shows and they are all for 12 charities which are, Children with Cancer UK, the Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer…
‘I’m not laughing at bowel cancer, it’s because she keeps saying, “yeah”.’
Looking embarrassed, Cat began to giggle and turned her face away, as Ben stepped in: ‘It’s called active listening, my wife does it and it drives me mad.’
Looking down the lens of the camera, Peter then joked: ‘Well, if you’ve got any issues with that and you want to ring up…?’ before continuing to list the charities.
Show viewers immediately took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to the moment, celebrating a guest had ‘finally called Cat out’ for the behaviour.
One penned: ‘At last someone has done it! Peter Kay calling out Cat Deeley on all her “yep… yeah…aha…um” while someone is trying to talk!’
A second added: ‘Not Peter Kay giving Cat a look to tell her to stop her “yep, yeah, uh huh” About time someone did!’
It’s not the first time that Cat has been called out by guests and viewers alike for interrupting and speaking over guests on the ITV show.

Last year, as Cat was standing in for former show host Holly Willoughby, viewers took to social media to voice their fury over her interrupting guests.
Highlighting her performance as chef John Torode – a show regular – talked them through his ultimate Thai green curry, one unimpressed viewer wrote: ‘Is this the Cat Deeley show? She never stops making a noise!’
A second wrote: ‘The show is called This Morning. NOT the Ben Shepherd Show or the Cat Deeley Show. STOP talking over each other and stop interrupting the guests. OMG – what a noise!’
While a third ranted: ‘Cat Deeley needs to listen more instead of talking all the time. John Torode was trying to explain a recipe, but she kept interrupting I’m much prefer Ben Shepherd.
‘I may have to turn off This Morning now she is on there all the time. She is too over the top.’
Another joked: ‘Will someone take Cat Deeley outside and give her a calming shot or an anaesthetic.’
Peter has now confirmed that ‘all the profits’ from the upcoming dates will be split among 12 cancer charities over a number of TV appearances on Thursday.

Peter revealed today he would be donating all earnings from his tour going forward to 12 cancer charities
Speaking to BBC host Lauren Laverne and Vernon Kay, the Bolton-born star said: ‘I’ve done this tour now and I’m announcing the last load of shows and all the profits are going to 12 charities.’
The other charities are DKMS UK, Ovarian Cancer Action, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Anthony Nolan, The Brain Tumour Charity, Breast Cancer UK.
He continued: ‘Unfortunately everyone knows someone affected on that list and I hope people support it, that’s why I’m here.
‘You don’t even have to like me to come, it goes beyond that and it is about supporting these charities and I hope you’d come.
‘Tickets go on sale this Sunday at 10 o’clock. It’s a good Christmas present too’, he added.
Peter will take to the stage for over 20 arena dates across Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Belfast, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and London.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
