Chloe passed away alongside four pals after the horror smash on a winding stretch of road near Dundalk, Co Louth, on Saturday, November 15.

The group were travelling in a Volkswagen Golf when it collided with a Toyota Land Cruiser on the R3168, Ardee Road.

Her white coffin was adorned in an assortment of soft pink, white and red flowers as it was carried in a white horse-drawn carriage.

The road into the crematorium was lined with hundreds of people who wanted to be there for the young woman and her devastated family.

Many struggled to hold back tears as the horses, dressed with pink feathers and sheets, led Chloe’s coffin to the service.

A hearse followed the horse-drawn carriage closely, carrying a wreath that said “daughter”, decorated in pink and white flowers.

More than £31,000 was raised to help repatriate Chloe’s body to Scotland after the fatal crash.

The young student, who had only recently celebrated her 21st birthday, was described as a “beautiful soul”, with her entire family left “broken” by the fatal crash.

Chloe was in her second year at Dundalk Institute of Technology studying quantity surveying after moving to Ireland back in April.

“We are all here to support the Hipson’s in this cruel, sad time. Goodnight Chloe. Rest in peace now. We are all heartbroken for you. Everyone is so broken.”
