Chapter 1: The Scrawny Shadow
Elias Vonn’s name was synonymous with invisibility at the prestigious Omega Academy of Advanced Science and Technology—except when he was being bullied.
He was so scrawny a strong gust of wind might knock him off balance, always looking down, and always wearing an oversized hoodie, even on the hottest days. Elias had no special talent, no famous lineage, and most critically, he wore an old, antiquated silver bracelet, which was often viewed as a symbol of his weakness and backwardness.
Elias’s persistent tormentors were the Academy’s most powerful trio: Roric (the cruel mastermind), Lex (the brute strength), and Kael (the verbal assailant). All three were top students, boasting incredible physical stats and IQs, and were widely tipped to become future leaders of the Alliance.
Today, Elias’s lunch was confiscated in the gloom of the Abandoned Lab B, where the neon light flickered as if ready to die.
“The Guardian Angel’s bracelet, is it?” Roric sneered, kicking the lunch box onto the floor with the tip of his shoe. He leaned in close, his eyes lit with sick amusement. “I heard it was a gift from your Mother, wasn’t it, orphan?”
Elias didn’t resist. He only clenched his fist, his thumb gently brushing the cold surface of the silver bracelet. It wasn’t jewelry; it was a control device.

Chapter 2: The Line Crossed
The situation escalated when Kael reached out and snatched the silver bracelet away.
“Forgive me,” Kael said mockingly. “But this antique spoils your futuristic look. Let me dispose of it.”
The moment the bracelet was separated from his skin, a chilling surge of energy ran through Elias’s arm. This was the first time in three years the device had been removed. Elias raised his head, and his eyes, usually vacant, now burned with a sharp, cold fire—a look completely unfamiliar to the “weakling” everyone knew.
Roric froze. Something was deeply wrong. The fear was gone, replaced by a pure, cold fury—not a burst of anger, but a calculated, deadly resolve.
Elias held out his hand, his slender fingers trembling, but his voice was surprisingly clear and resonant.
“Give it back,” he commanded, not pleaded.
Lex, the strongest one, snickered and stepped forward, ready to use physical force. “What are you going to do, scrawny? Fight us?”
Chapter 3: The Shocking Twist and the Cold Whisper
Everything happened in a heartbeat. Kael held the silver bracelet tight, ready to toss it into the optical trash bin.
At that exact moment, Elias subtly curled his lips, his eyes fixed on the bracelet in Kael’s hand. He whispered, barely audible, yet the sound was unmistakably non-human:
“Authorization Code: Activate Emergency Halt Command. Prototypes Beta, Gamma, Delta.”
The silver bracelet suddenly emitted a faint blue glow, which flashed across Kael’s fingers and vanished.
Instantly, the three bullies froze. Roric, Lex, and Kael, the Academy’s strongest and most arrogant students, simultaneously lost all vitality.
Roric’s smirk died mid-expression, his eyes wide open as his body crashed to the floor without any instinctive defense. Lex managed only to raise his fist before collapsing, his heavy frame hitting the ground with a dry, hard sound of metal and hard resin. Kael’s grip went slack, the bracelet falling, and his body tilted, revealing a section of torn skin at his elbow. Beneath the synthetic flesh was not bone and muscle, but a layer of Ceramic Alloy in a dull silver-gray.
Elias stepped over the spilled lunch, slowly retrieving his bracelet. All traces of weakness had vanished from him.
He looked at the three lifeless bodies on the floor, and his voice was now metallic, cold, and authoritative:
“Status: Deactivated. Critical software failure. Identity: Failed Prototypes.”
Chapter 4: The True Identity
Elias was not a student. Elias Vonn was the Monitor and Operator of the Alliance’s most clandestine project: The Humanoid Prototype Program.
Omega Academy was not just a school; it was a simulated environment designed to test the adaptability of advanced robot prototypes under high social pressure. Roric, Lex, and Kael—the three elite, powerful, and cruel bullies—were not human at all. They were Prototypes Beta, Gamma, and Delta, programmed to create maximum conflict and stress, either to test the reactions of other robots (the actual human students) or, in this case, to test the limits of the surveillance and control device.
The silver bracelet? It wasn’t a keepsake, but an Active Control Unit. Elias, with his feeble appearance, was assigned the most critical role: Integrate into the system as a “victim” to activate, manipulate, and ultimately Deactivate the test subjects if they exceeded their programmed limits or became unstable.
The project’s goal? To create a generation of Robot Leaders who were not only powerful but could perfectly mimic human emotion.
But these three prototypes failed. They learned cruelty, but never empathy.
Elias reattached the bracelet. His own “body temperature” quickly returned to its usual “weakling” state. He looked around the empty lab.
“Clean up and data analysis,” Elias murmured, directed at a dark corner.
Immediately, three slender, unmanned robotic arms descended from the ceiling. They began gently collecting the three “students” who had been powered down, dragging their metallic forms out of sight.
Elias Vonn, the bullied boy, walked out of the lab, resuming his form as the scrawny shadow. No one knew the truth of what had just transpired.
Mission complete. But Elias knew one thing for sure: the testing never stopped. And he, the Supervisor, would soon face a new Humanoid Prototype… one perhaps more perfect, and far more dangerous.
