The Mysterious D3:ath of a 23-Year-Old Man: Multiple Dogs Were Found at the Scene, Prompting Police to Launch an Immediate Investigation

A man has died in a suspected dog attack in Sydney’s south-west.

Police confirmed they were called to a property on Badgally Road in Eschol Park, near Campbelltown, on Wednesday, after responding to a report that a body had been found in a paddock.

When they arrived, they found a 23-year-old man, deceased, who had suffered serious injuries.

“Initial inquiries indicate the man may have been attacked by animals prior to his death,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.

According to 2GB, multiple dogs were on the property.

Campbelltown City Council said it was assisting NSW Police in their investigation.

“NSW Police are leading the investigation into a suspected dog attack at a property in Eschol Park. Council is supporting police inquiries and will continue to assist as required, in accordance with its legislative responsibilities, including determining the registration and ownership status of the dogs,” a council spokesperson told nine.com.au.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

More to come.
