Prince William received sweet treats for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at his latest engagement, but he joked that the goodies might not make it all the way home to his kids.
On Nov. 25, the Prince of Wales, 43, visited North Wales to shine a light on young people in coastal communities and was given candy at Youth Shedz in Mochdre. The youth group co-creates safe spaces with young people who may be experiencing challenges like exclusion at school, bullying or homelessness.
As seen in a video shared by Hello! magazine, William checked out a table of treats with Youth Shedz founder Scott Jenkinson and seemed charmed when organizers began to fill a bag for him.
“Oh, sweets. Oh my goodness me,” the heir to the throne said with a laugh.

“For your lovely children,” a woman behind the table explained.
“They may never make it back to the children!” William cracked back, which made everyone laugh.
The heir to the throne — who shares Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, with his wife, Kate Middleton — is known to have a sweet tooth.

In September, the Prince and Princess of Wales joked about how he likes his brownies at the National Federation of Women’s Institutes on the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death as they chatted with members over baked goods.
“I know my brownies,” William said with conviction in a video shared to social media.
“William is very fussy about it,” Kate agreed, and William shared his golden rule for an ideal brownie: “Never put nuts in a brownie.”
“I had to learn the hard way,” Kate joked, which made their table laugh.
Prince William also gave a sweet shout-out to Princess Kate during his visit to Youth Shedz, one of three stops he made in North Wales.

While speaking with Jenkinson, William learned that his wife Sian was a key support for him during his previous challenges with homelessness and addiction, royal editor Rebecca English of the Daily Mail reported.
“Were you there with Scott when he turned his life around?” William asked Sian. “He has done well to turn his life around.”
Sian agreed and Jenkinson said, “With my wife behind me. You know that.”
“This is it. Behind every average man there is an even better wife, William responded with a nod.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been married for 14 years, and in an October episode of The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy on Apple TV+, Prince William praised his wife for her strength while undergoing treatment for cancer in 2024.
“You know life is sent to test us as well, and it definitely can be challenging at times, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are,” William said on the show. “You know, I’m so proud of my wife and my father for how they’ve handled all of last year. My children have managed brilliantly as well.”
Princess Kate shared in January that she is in remission, while King Charles’ treatment for cancer, a diagnosis also announced in 2024, continues.
