Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to attend Kri/latest/prince-harrys Jenner’s glamorous 70th birthday bash in Hollywood while the rest of the royals marked Remembrance in the UK exposed their “chaotic nature” of their PR operation, a royal expert has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s controversial appearance in Hollywood resurfaced recently after Kim Kardashian set the record straight about what really happened with the deleted pictures of the royal couple.
Kim claimed the Sussexes’ team approved the photos for social media, but after the backlash, they asked for them to be removed. A royal expert said the Kardashian blunder highlighted how cautious the Sussex couple need to be when managing their image in celebrity circles that they do not control.
Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News: “What it illustrates is the chaotic nature of their PR. They’ve lost 11 top advisors. It’s so haphazard, allowing it and then suddenly realising, oh my goodness, we’ll be seen in it, so think what they’ll think of us. It’s clearly very disjointed.”
