Meghan Markle was blasted by fans online after she appeared to handle food with bare hands again in her latest video, which revealed her favourite Christmas songs. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account to share a new video showing clips of her prepping food from what appears to be her Christmas special episode on Netflix.

Meghan can be seen chopping up food, making a dough mix and holding butter with her bare hands, while she also pops a bottle of what appears to be sparkling wine. But fans appeared to be furious with the Duchess’s way of handing raw food, a topic she has been previously criticised for and shared their views online.

A user wrote on Reddit: “Again with the RINGS and FOOD! So gross!! Take your da** rings off when you’re cooking!!”

A second user said: “That part disgusts me the most. She won’t wear gloves – fine. But she won’t take off her jewelry, and her hair is dangling everywhere.”

A third one added: “And tie up your hair!”

A fourth user commented: “As Ever, the Douchess of Salmonella doesn’t take rules and regulations seriously. She’s treating important food handling rules in the kitchen the same way she treated official royal/UK traditions… with utter contempt.”

Meghan was dubbed “Duchess Salmonella” by users online when, earlier this autumn, she shared a video of herself prepping turkey with bare hands and jewellery.

Another user wrote: “Her hands in that puppy chow mix will never be forgotten.”

A sixth one blasted: “Not a glove to be seen.”

Lastly, a seventh user opined: “I absolutely loathe her idea of food hygiene.”

At the end of the video, Meghan revealed the list of her favourite 16 Christmas songs, which included the likes of Norah Jones, Mariah Carey, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and Wham!.
