Authorities believe he died of heatstroke after being trapped inside the car for more than 12 hours.

According to police reports, his mother returned from a party shortly after midnight, went inside, and fell asleep.

She allegedly forgot he was still strapped in his car seat as temperatures quickly rose the next day, according to NewsX.

Emergency services were called to Capellania Avenue in La Rioja Residencial at around 1:30pm after a woman raised the alarm.

When officers arrived, they found a woman carrying Vicente, claiming he was not responding.

Forensic experts later determined Vicente had suffered severe heat exposure.

Burns were found on his arms and legs, caused by contact with hot surfaces and extreme temperatures inside the car.

He was described as being of healthy weight and size for his age.
