A Sydney man has been charged with terrorism offences following a routine traffic stop last year.
Police stopped a 31-year-old man driving Toyota sedan on Dargan St in Yagoona on December 31.
Officers from the Raptor Squad and Traffic and Highway Patrol has been monitoring the area and found drugs, cash and three mobile phones inside a car.

A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with supplying prohibited drugs, dealing with proceeds of crime and using a non-compliant vehicle.
He was given conditional bail when he faced court on January 1.
Officers investigating the case examined the man’s phones and allegedly found extremist material stored on one of the devices.

He was arrested and charged with using carriage service-possess violent extremist material and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.

He was granted bail and is due to appear at the Bankstown Local Court on March 3.
