Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling confident that she doesn’t need “the Palace machine to shine” after her and Prince Harry’s latest trip together. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who quit royal life in 2020, were in Australia last week to carry out a number of engagements.
These engagements were related to matters close to their hearts, and some were also business opportunities. While the trip Down Under drew some criticism of the couple, it is claimed that Meghan’s confidence was boosted by the warm welcome she received from fans.
A source told Heatworld that the duchess is now “buzzing” about what she perceives as a successful trip. The insider said: “She’s absolutely buzzing after this trip because in her mind it proves everything she’s been saying all along, that she doesn’t need the Palace machine to shine because she just naturally connects with people in a way that feels far more authentic and modern.”
