Sources close to the Sussexes indicate that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is furious and has allegedly been giving Prince Harry the “cold shoulder” after a photo of her with the Kardashian-Jenner family was scrubbed from social media just hours after being posted. The cause of this severe PR blunder is reportedly an “insensitive act” by Harry: his wearing of a remembrance poppy in the frame.
The incident occurred following a private meeting between Meghan and a senior member of the Kim Kardashian family. A joint photo was quickly posted to the Kardashian family’s account, seemingly publicizing this new power connection. However, in an instant, the photo vanished.

The Poppy Causes a Global PR Crisis
According to internal sources, the reason the Kardashian team had to urgently delete the photo was not Meghan, but Prince Harry. In the picture, Harry was seen wearing the traditional Remembrance Poppy on his lapel, a symbol of Remembrance Day in the UK.
Although the poppy is a respected and apolitical symbol in the United Kingdom, the notoriously stringent PR team of Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner allegedly perceived a political or cultural risk in including a distinctly British and military symbol within their global, non-political, commercial brand content.
A source revealed: “They acted faster than lightning. The Kardashian team doesn’t want anything that could be controversial or distract from their brand. That poppy, though harmless to Harry, was an unnecessary PR risk in a global context.”
Meghan’s Fury: “Your Insensitive Act!”
Meghan is reportedly viewing this as a major personal failure. She had worked to build a relationship with one of the world’s most famous dynasties, and that connection was severed due to a small, yet symbolic, detail from her husband’s side.
A source close to the couple stated that Meghan severely criticized Harry: “She said that Harry’s insensitive act forced the Kim family to quickly delete the photo. She feels he constantly drags unnecessary PR troubles from the British Royal Family into their new relationships.”
For Meghan, being deleted from the Kardashian family’s personal page was not just an embarrassment but a major blow to her efforts to build an independent brand and secure superstar partnerships in Hollywood.
This incident, though only involving a deleted photo, exposes a rift in the Sussexes’ PR strategy and raises questions about personal friction between Meghan and Harry as they struggle to balance their Royal background with their global superstar ambitions.
