Atlanta/Chicago – The life and death of rapper Dayvon Daquan Bennett, known by his stage name King Von, continues to shake the hip-hop world and the U.S. legal system years after that fateful night in November 2020. Though Lil Tim was charged with felony murder and posted a $100,000 bond in March 2021, the case took a stunning turn. In August 2023, the Fulton County District Attorney dropped all charges against Lil Tim, citing video evidence of self-defense which showed King Von initiating the assault.
