Meghan Markle believed royal life would be like a Disney fairy tale, but the dream was swiftly shattered, royal experts claim.
Five News royal correspondent Simon Vigar and commentator Samara Gill joined The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson for the latest instalment of the publication’s podcast, Royal Exclusive. The trio discussed their views of how well Diana, Princess of Wales, Catherine, Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle took to royal life.
Samara agreed Meghan didn’t have the same level of patience as other women who married into the Royal Family. She said while Catherine grew up knowing about the royals, Meghan had a Disneyland kind of understanding, pointing to hers and Harry’s wedding.
