Prince Archie is hitting another milestone this week, which will be a sad reminder for King Charles, a royal commentator has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eldest child will be turning seven on Wednesday, May 6.
It has not been six years since the Sussexes moved across the pond permanently, after Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in early 2020. The Montecito family last returned to the UK together in the summer of 2020 for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The rift between the two camps is said to be causing pain for King Charles, who longs to see and have a relationship with all his grandchildren.

Now, a royal commentator has claimed Archie’s birthday this week will be a painful reminder of the royal rift for the monarch.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told the Mirror: “I think King Charles is full of regrets over the whole situation, he definitely wouldn’t have wanted it to go this way.
“He has spoken about how much he enjoys being a grandparent.”
It comes as the King did not meet with his estranged son during his four-day state visit to the US last week.
Charles and Camilla carried out engagements in Washington, New York and Virginia, in what was seen as a hugely successful trip across the pond.
But the King did not arrange a meeting with Harry, who was just a few miles away during his father’s stay in the US.
