Two men have allegedly attacked each other with metal poles during a wild street brawl in Melbourne’s west, captured on CCTV.
The fight erupted on a footpath in Sunshine West, with both men allegedly armed with metal poles.
The 19-year-old and 30-year-old appeared to taunt each other before the younger man was seen getting behind the wheel of a car and allegedly hit the older man twice with the vehicle.
Somehow the 30-year-old got back up on his feet unscathed as shocked bystanders tried to stop those involved from leaving.
The innocent owner of a grey ute parked nearby was caught up in the drama.
Police arrived on scene within minutes and took the pair into custody.
It is not clear what sparked the fight but it is understood the two men involved were known to each other.
The 19-year-old has since been charged with a string of serious offences including assault with a weapon and dangerous driving.
He has been bailed while the other man was released on summons.
