A COP who arrested Henry Nowak as he lay fatally injured has resigned – after shocking bodycam footage showed police ignoring the victim as his Sikh killer told lies.
The tragic 18-year-old was stabbed and left bleeding out while returning home from a night out – before cops ignored his pleas for help and instead handcuffed him.

University student Henry was knifed five times with a 21cm ceremonial sword by Vickrum Digwa in Southampton in December 2025.
When police arrived at the scene, Digwa accused his victim of making racist remarks – with officers to arrest Henry as he lay dying.
Bodycam footage shows Henry telling cops several times that he had been stabbed – only for one to say “I don’t think you have, mate”.
The teenager was even heard in the clip saying “I can’t breathe” as well as “I’ve been stabbed”.

He tragically died just one hour after the video was taken.
There were four officers present at the scene at the time of Henry’s arrest – one of whom has now resigned.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Three of the officers are still serving, one officer has resigned.
“As the IOPC has confirmed, they are all being treated as witnesses, so not subject to any current restrictions.”

On Monday, Digwa was jailed for life for the murder of Henry in Southampton.
The 23-year-old Sikh had used his “racism trump card” and lied to police, who arrested Henry as he lay dying.
The chilling case has sparked fury from the public and politicians, with Hampshire Police now being investigated by the IOPC.
Henry’s family gave moving victim impact statements on Monday as his mum Lucy Ross described the pain of his death as being “beyond anything I knew existed”.
His dad Mark told how he would be haunted forever by his son’s murder.
He also branded the way his son was treated as “degrading” and “inhumane” as he added: “Henry did not die with dignity. He did not die with the care he deserved.
“He lost consciousness before anyone believed him.”
It comes after Sir Keir Starmer said he “felt sick” watching the bodycam footage.
The PM has said there are “serious questions” for police to answer, including how “accusations of racism” swayed the cops’ decisions.
But Sir Keir has insisted there is “no such thing as two-tier policing”, after Nigel Farage blasted cops who believed the Sikh killer’s “racist attack” lie.
The Reform UK leader praised Henry’s family for reacting in such a “dignified way”, but said Brits are living in a “two-tier culture”.
Downing Street has hit back at his comments, saying there is “no such thing as two-tier policing” and that officers must treat everyone equally.
No10 said: “I think the Prime Minister is of the view that many police officers across this country do a fantastic job protecting people.
“Of course, it’s right that the police should be a meritocratic organisation, and as I’ve just said, it’s absolutely right that they should police without fear or favour.
“There is no such thing as two-tier policing.
“We expect high standards from police officers, high standards of conduct, and they must treat everyone equally.”
