Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s former deputy press secretary and director of communications has taken on a new role.

Kyle Boulia was named Principal at Forward Global Los Angeles, a reputation and risk management firm with clients in entertainment, media and technology.

The move reunites him with Ashley Hansen, now Managing Partner at Forward Global Los Angeles. The two previously worked together at United Talent Agency (UTA) and later as part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s communications team, where Hansen served as Global Press Secretary and Head of Communications before launching her own firm in 2024.

Hansen said in a statement, “Bringing Kyle Boulia on board at Forward Global Los Angeles was a deliberate and strategic decision — one rooted in trust, collaboration and an appreciation for excellence. Having worked with Kyle before, I’ve seen firsthand his unmatched dedication, creative tenacity, and commitment to delivering his clients results that move the needle. He embodies the forward-thinking spirit we’re building here, and I couldn’t imagine a stronger first hire to expand our west coast presence.”

Boulia was one of four staffers to part ways with Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, in a shakeup revealed in June.

The update comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had another staff change in recent weeks. PEOPLE confirmed that the couple’s director of communications, Emily Robinson, left their team after four months in the role.

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tells PEOPLE, “Ms. Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company. She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”

The Duke of Sussex’s chief of staff Josh Kettler also left his position after three months in 2024 after a trial period, with the decision to part ways being mutual.

Liam Maguire, who is the director of communications in Europe, and Meredith Maines, who is the couple’s chief communications officer, remain in their roles.
