Police later released bodycam footage of the moment Mr Kohn and Ms Francis were arrested before being charged with Mr Murray’s murder.

Town rocked by beloved man’s death|
Residents told The Courier-Mail that Ms Francis began screaming for help, with neighbours rushing to the house and taking the knife off her.
It has since been seized by police.
Locals said Mr Murray was a beloved figure in the community who had been battling prostate cancer.
He was planning an overseas trip with his dog, 7News reported.
The neighbour said Mr Murray was his friend of at least two decades, describing him as a brother.
“I’m sick, I tried to eat, I’ve spewed up two times,” he said.
“I’m in shock, that’s my mate. He was a fun, loving, caring guy, always down to earth.
“He would help anyone, he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.”
Another neighbour said the victim was a “lovely bloke who didn’t deserve it”.
Mr Murray has been remembered as a ‘caring’ and ‘lovely bloke’.
Inspector Galpin thanked the neighbour for his assistance in disarming Ms Francis and rushing to the help Mr Murray
He said the community was “very tight-knit”, with distressed neighbours consoling each other after the incident.
“I can certainly appreciate this would have been a traumatic event for that community, and it will have a lasting impact, unfortunately,” he said.
“Our sympathies are certainly with that community, and we will continue to offer support.
“And, obviously, our thoughts go out to the neighbours, friends and family of this man who has lost his life.”

A neighbour recalled hearing Ms Francis screaming after the alleged altercation.
“She has come down yelling and screaming for help, (saying he’s) just been stabbed, he is on the ground bleeding out,” the neighbour told The Courier-Mail.
“My mate was also at the scene, he has gone inside, grabbed her, threw her out of the way.”
Inspector Galpin said Ms Francis allegedly tried to strike the neighbour with the knife as she was being disarmed.
“When one of the neighbours entered the property and disarmed the woman, she struck out at that neighbour with the knife, narrowly missing him,” he said.
“So she’s been charged with acts to intend grievous bodily harm based on those (alleged) actions.”
They said Mr Murray was trying to enter his home but was blocked by the two other occupants.
The neighbour said Mr Murray tried to tell the occupants to “vacate the premises”, but they “wouldn’t leave”.
“I have come up, opened the gate and seen (Mr Murray) lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds in his lungs, multiple stab wounds in his back,” he said.
“Two police officers then attended the scene and they’ve rushed in, tried to help him, do CPR, tried to work on him, but then they lost him.”
Investigations are ongoing.
