King Charles unveiled a new royal residence in his documentary by opening the doors to Cluckingham Palace.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision premiered globally on Amazon’s Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 6, and a must-see moment shows the King, 77, stepping inside Cluckingham Palace, a chicken coop at his beloved Highgrove estate.

As seen in an official snippet of the documentary shared to Instagram, the rain boot-clad King brought a bucket of feed into Cluckingham Palace and left with a basket full of brown eggs.

“That’s a good haul,” someone behind the camera commented.

“Well, the great thing is you give them something in return,” the sovereign responded with a chuckle. “At least they can peck about here, they love it,” he added about the space for the birds.

Cluckingham Palace is a witty play on Buckingham Palace, the royal family’s iconic residence in London, and the lighthearted moniker is reminiscent of the punny name of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chicken coop at their home in Montecito, California.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a chicken coop at their house called Archie’s Chick Inn, nodding to the name of their son, Prince Archie, 6. Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, bought their home in Montecito in 2020 after stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. and their daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, was born in California in 2021.

The world got a glimpse of Archie’s Chick Inn during the couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired on CBS in March 2021. There, Oprah noticed the sign reading “Archie’s Chick Inn — established 2021” for the coop housing hens rescued from a factory farm.

“I just love rescuing,” Meghan said about the flock.

Though King Charles and Harry, his younger son, remain estranged amid a familial rift that became public when he and Meghan stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, old footage of the father and son is featured in Finding Harmony.

The documentary chronicles King Charles’ lifelong commitment to the environment and includes a quick clip of Prince Harry fly fishing with his father as a young boy.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision highlights the sovereign’s work through The King’s Foundation, the charity he founded in 1990 inspired by his philosophy of harmony, and is narrated by King’s Foundation ambassador Kate Winslet.

King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the documentary’s glam premiere at Windsor Castle on Jan. 28 in a special screening thought to be the first premiere in a royal residence.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision is now streaming on Prime Video.
