Queen Elizabeth’s corgis, Sandy and Muick, were spotted at the Sandringham estate, indicating that they will be living with the former Prince Andrew following his eviction

A clue about the latest living arrangements for Queen Elizabeth’s corgis has been revealed.
The former Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, officially moved out of their longtime Windsor home, Royal Lodge, last week, prompting speculation about the late Queen’s two corgis, who were in their care.
On Monday, Feb. 9, The Daily Mail published photos that reportedly show Muick and Sandy on a walk at the royal family’s Sandringham estate, where Andrew relocated. The corgis were reportedly brought outside by a member of Andrew’s private protection near Wood Farm, his temporary accommodation.
Andrew, 65, is staying at Wood Farm while his new permanent residence at Marsh Farm, also on the Sandringham Estate, undergoes renovations. The Sandringham estate is privately owned by the royal family, and it’s understood that Andrew’s accommodations moving forward will be paid for by the King.

The former Duke of York, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was forced to give up Royal Lodge after being stripped of his royal titles by King Charles last fall due to fallout over his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Buckingham Palace confirmed at the time of the royal family shakeup that the corgis would remain with Andrew and Ferguson. Though the pair divorced in 1996, they continued to live together at Royal Lodge. However, following the news of their eviction, a source told PEOPLE that Ferguson planned to move into her own residence and “forge an independent life.”
Ferguson and Andrew took in Sandy and Muick after the Queen died in 2022. The late monarch was a lover of animals, especially horses and dogs, and owned more than 30 corgis and “dorgi” mixes over the course of her life. Muick and Sandy were the only two to outlive her and were present at her funeral on Sept. 19, 2022.

Last September, Ferguson paid tribute to the Queen on the third anniversary of her death by sharing a photo of her beloved dogs on Instagram.
“Her Majesty will be forever loved, always missed, and never forgotten,” she captioned the pic. “Not a day goes by when I don’t think of the kindness I was unstintingly shown in good times and bad. Caring for Her Majesty’s beloved corgis is an honor and a daily reminder of the times we shared together.”
Ferguson opened up about adopting the dogs in an exclusive PEOPLE interview in March 2023.
“They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic,” she shared at the time. “But they’re total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there’s no squirrels in sight, I believe it’s because the Queen is passing by.”
Apart from Buckingham Palace’s initial statement on Andrew’s royal exile, King Charles had avoided addressing the matter publicly. However, he broke his silence this week, specifically addressing new reports that his brother could face a police inquiry.
The BBC reported on Feb. 9 that the Thames Valley Police was investigating allegations that Andrew shared confidential information related to his role as a trade envoy with Epstein. Newly released emails from the U.S. Department of Justice appear to show Andrew sending the late businessman and alleged sex trafficker travel reports from Southeast Asia, as well as a “confidential brief” about investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
The palace’s statement, made the same day, said, “The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.”
“While the specific claims in question are for Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police, we stand ready to support them as you would expect,” it continued.
“As was previously stated, Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse,” the palace concluded.
