Jennifer Aniston had quite the year in 2025—one that included falling in love.

In her first public relationship since splitting from husband Justin Theroux in 2018, Aniston was first spotted with boyfriend Jim Curtis over the summer. Since then, he’s attended red carpet events with her, and they’ve made their respective hard launch debuts on one another’s Instagrams.

Curtis, naturally, made a cameo in Aniston’s highlight reel of 2025, shared to her Instagram on December 31. The clip included moments with Reese Witherspoon, Selena Gomez, Courteney Cox, dogs, food, friends, and her haircare brand LolaVie—and closed with a poignant shot of a heart-shaped cloud, perhaps a sign of what’s to come for Aniston in 2026.

“BUH-BYEEEEE 2025👋🏼 ❤️,” Aniston wrote alongside the video, which included a brief glimpse of Curtis posing with a dog.

Curtis’s Instagram post from New Year’s Eve also naturally included Aniston, including a photo of them posing in a car. His carousel also included shots of nature, dogs (like attracts like), and began with the quote, “Sometimes the magic happens when you stop worrying about how things will turn out.”

“Some amazing things happened this year but it’s always the people who make it,” Curtis captioned his 2025 roundup post. “Can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store…got a few surprises cooking…”

A source told People that Aniston and Curtis’s relationship “feels like kismet,” adding that Aniston “truly loves” Curtis. “He’s brought so many good things into her life,” the insider said.

According to the outlet, the couple have spent the holiday season together, including planning a “trip to the snow” and “a sunny trip for New Year’s.”

“As time goes by, they uncover another layer about each other,” a source told Us Weekly about the twosome. A different insider added that, when it comes to Aniston and Curtis, “Things have progressed. They are very serious at this point.”

“He’s brought her so much happiness and security that she feels comfortable sharing,” the source added, with the other insider confirming to the publication that “She finally feels secure enough to share without any fear. Jen’s saying this is her person. She wouldn’t do that unless she was sure.”

“She’s tired of hiding her joy,” they said.
