Authorities in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather, who has been missing since June 5, 2026.
While police have not disclosed the specific location where the teenager was last seen, they have released physical descriptions to aid in the search effort. At the time of his disappearance, Ja’Derrius was wearing black sweatpants, a black and gray Jordan shirt, and red Nike slippers.
According to the official description, the teenager has a slight build, standing 5’0” tall and weighing approximately 98 pounds. He has brown eyes and is distinguished by his dreadlock hairstyle.
Currently, police are focusing their efforts on gathering leads from the community.
