Meghan Markle wore something special from Prince Harry during a shopping trip for children’s gifts in her California town.

On April 1, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted shopping at a family-owned toy store in Montecito, where she lives with her husband and their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

Meghan, 44, wore casual clothes for the low-key outing, including a white Hermès scarf with a pattern that was a gift from Prince Harry, 41.

The Duchess of Sussex has several Hermès scarves in her collection. She has previously sported shawls from the French fashion house in her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan on Netflix and in October 2025 in New York City, according to Town & Country and Hello! magazine, among other instances.

Silk Hermès scarves were also an accessory worn by the late Queen Elizabeth, who was known to skip hats in lieu of headscarves when she attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show and other outdoor events.

A source tells PEOPLE that Meghan was “picking up Easter gifts for her kids and her godchildren” when she went shopping on Wednesday.

“She was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections,” the source says.

Meghan bought Magic Rabbit playing cards and Magic Castle Sea Monkeys at the local shop, where she completed her look with a white baseball cap, Zara trench coat, jeans and Loro Piana flats. She was seen leaving with two large paper bags, and some of the finds might be headed for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s Easter baskets when they celebrate the holiday this weekend.

On April 2, Meghan celebrated Prince Archie’s skiing skills in a new video she shared to her personal Instagram page.

“My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud ❤️,” she wrote below the video, which showed Archie following Harry as they skied down a snowy mountain.

The Duke of Sussex is an experienced skier and grew up skiing in Europe with his parents, the future King Charles and Princess Diana, and brother, Prince William.
