Two men and a woman have been charged with murdering a man who fell to his death from a balcony in north-west Sydney.

Emergency services were called to Crane Road in Castle Hill early on Sunday morning following reports of shouting coming from a fourth-floor apartment.

One neighbour said he woke in the early hours of the morning to desperate cries for help.

Paramedics couldn’t save a 44-year-old man they found critically injured in a garden area outside the complex after falling up to 15 metres.

Police arrested a 38-year-old man at Castle Hill police station on Wednesday, before arresting a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman at a home in Woolloomooloo yesterday.

All three were charged with murder.

Investigators believed the man did not live at the unit and were trying to establish exactly what happened before the fall.

It’s understood a party was underway inside the apartment before the incident, but by the time police and paramedics arrived, guests had already left.

The 38-year-old faced Parramatta Local Court yesterday and the other two were refused bail to face Bail Division Court 7 today.
