Thames Valley Police confirmed the six-day search at ex-Prince Andrew’s former Royal Lodge home in Windsor, Berkshire, has concluded
The search followed Andrew’s Feb. 19 arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office; the investigation remains ongoing, police said
Officers also searched Andrew’s Norfolk residence at Wood Farm, where he was arrested, with that search activity ending after the first day

Searches at Royal Lodge, the former Windsor home of the former Prince Andrew, have concluded after six days, police confirmed.

Thames Valley Police said in a statement that officers have now completed search activity in Berkshire connected to their investigation into an alleged offence of misconduct in public office.

“Officers have now left the location we have been searching in Berkshire,” Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said.

Wright added that the investigation remains ongoing.

“We understand the significant public interest in this case and our investigation remains ongoing,” he said. “It is important that our investigators are given the time and space to progress their work. We will provide updates when it is appropriate to do so, but this is unlikely to be for some time.”

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on Feb. 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office. In announcing the arrest, Thames Valley Police said officers were carrying out searches at addresses in both Berkshire and Norfolk.

Search activity at Wood Farm, on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk where Andrew was arrested and has been staying temporarily, concluded after the first day, PEOPLE understands. Royal Lodge — Andrew’s longtime Windsor residence, which he vacated earlier this month — was the only address searched in Berkshire.

Authorities are investigating an allegation that Andrew shared confidential information with the late Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a U.K. trade envoy in the 2000s. Andrew has denied any wrongdoing.

Andrew stepped back from public life in 2019 following scrutiny over his ties to Epstein. He officially moved out of Royal Lodge earlier this month after being ordered to surrender the lease, and was stripped of his princely titles last year.

In a statement following his brother’s arrest, King Charles said the royal family would fully cooperate with any investigation, adding that “the law must take its course.”
