100 ARRESTS NOT ENOUGH: Woman with Massive Criminal History Continues Horrific K!lling Spree, Fatally Hitting Pedestrian While Transporting Narc0tics

Police in Rhode Island said a woman with over 100 prior arrests has been taken into custody in connection to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian.

The Hopkinton Police Department said officers were called to Saturday’s one-car crash on Spring Street at about 7:20 a.m.

According to investigators, 41-year-old Shannon Godbout was driving eastbound on Spring Street when she left her lane, crashed into two telephone poles and then the pedestrian who was walking his dogs on the shoulder.

The victim was identified by Hopkinton police as 70-year-old Roderick Macleod. He died from his injuries after being transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Godbout was arrested at the scene and transported to a hospital for a medical evaluation.

Hopkinton Police Chief Mark Carrier said officers found narcotics and drug distribution materials in Godbout’s possession during a search. Her charges include driving so as to endanger resulting in death and possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.

According to Carrier, Godbout has been arrested at least 100 times, including eight by Hopkinton law enforcement.

Her criminal history also includes 82 court warrants and 40 traffic citations.

Police said Monday that additional criminal charges are possible as the investigation continues by law enforcement and the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office.
