ROYALS STUNNED — King Charles gave Queen Camilla a major role during his private reunion with Prince Harry and Meghan, and the reason behind her presence is now making headlines…
Queen Camilla Reportedly Played a Key Role During King Charles’ Private Reunion With Prince Harry and Meghan
Queen Camilla may have played a far more significant role than previously believed during King Charles’ private reunion with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, according to royal commentators.
While much of the attention surrounding the reported Highgrove meeting has focused on the emotional father-son reunion, new claims suggest the Queen was present not simply as the King’s wife, but as a trusted supporter and witness throughout the conversation.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Sussexes have commented publicly on the reported details of the meeting.
Camilla Reportedly Served as a “Referee”
Royal commentator Richard Kay, speaking on Palace Confidential with Richard Eden, claimed King Charles wanted Queen Camilla by his side during the family gathering.
According to Kay, the Queen acted as what he described as a “referee” throughout the meeting.
He suggested that if Prince Harry had tried to persuade the King on sensitive family matters, Camilla’s presence would have ensured another trusted member of the Royal Family witnessed the discussions.
Kay also noted that while Camilla may have had personal reasons to feel uncomfortable after Prince Harry’s previous public criticism of her, she was likely focused on supporting her husband.
These comments reflect Kay’s personal analysis and have not been independently confirmed.
Supporting the King During a Difficult Family Moment
Kay suggested that Camilla’s decision to attend the meeting was motivated by loyalty to King Charles rather than any desire to revisit past family tensions.
Over recent years, Prince Harry has spoken openly about his complicated relationship with Camilla in interviews and in his memoir Spare, making any future meeting between them particularly noteworthy.
Despite that history, Kay argued that the Queen would naturally want to support the King during an emotionally significant family reunion.
Another Expert Says Camilla Wants Peace
A similar view was shared by royal commentator Rob Shuter, who claimed Camilla hopes to see divisions within the Royal Family eased for the King’s sake.
According to Shuter, sources told him the Queen wants peace because she loves her husband and has watched the family’s disagreements unfold publicly for years.
However, the same sources reportedly said that while Camilla may support reconciliation, she has not forgotten the criticisms Prince Harry has made about her in the past.
Those claims have not been verified by Buckingham Palace.
Reconciliation Still Faces Major Challenges
The reported Highgrove gathering has fueled speculation that King Charles and Prince Harry are attempting to rebuild their relationship after years of public tension.
However, questions remain about whether those efforts can eventually extend to the wider Royal Family, particularly Prince William, who has not been reported to have participated in the meeting.
For now, the reported reunion appears to represent a private family conversation rather than confirmation that long-standing royal divisions have been fully resolved.
