QUEENSLAND POLICE HAVE ISSUED AN URGENT APPEAL AFTER A TEEN GIRL VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE

An urgent search is underway in North Queensland after a 16-year-old girl disappeared nearly a week ago, leaving her family desperately searching for answers.
Police have launched a public appeal as concerns continue to grow for the teenager’s welfare after she was last in contact with her loved ones on Thursday, July 9.
Family Hasn’t Heard From Her in Five Days
The missing teenager, who lives in the Townsville suburb of Douglas, has not been seen or heard from since contacting her family last Thursday.
After several days without any communication, she was officially reported missing to police on Monday, prompting an active search effort.
Authorities say both investigators and her family are becoming increasingly concerned because of her age and the length of time she has been missing.
Police Release Description
Police describe the 16-year-old as:
Around 150 cm tall
Fair complexion
Brown hair
Blue eyes
Nose piercing
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen her or has information about where she may be to come forward immediately.
Public Asked to Help
Queensland Police are urging anyone with information—even if it seems minor—to contact Policelink on 131 444 or report information through the appropriate police channels.
As the search enters its fifth day, family members continue hoping someone may recognize the teenager or provide the information needed to help bring her home safely.
