ABC David Muir fans fume ‘are we supposed to feel bad’ as he shares Beyoncé heartbreak

In a recent segment for ABC World News Tonight, anchor David Muir reported on the theft of Beyoncé’s unreleased music from her choreographer’s vehicle. However, the audience’s reaction was not quite what one might expect.

ABC’s heartthrob David addressed the viewers, saying, “To the index of other news, the 911 call reporting Beyoncé’s unreleased music stolen in Atlanta. The suspect breaking into her choreographer’s SUV, stealing hard drives with the music and video footage.”

The broadcast included a recording of the frantic 911 call made by Diandre Blue, who pleaded, “They have my computers and its really, really important information in there. I work with someone who is of like of high status and I really need the – my computer back and everything.”

David further noted that the superstar was in Atlanta for her Cowboy Carter tour at the time of the incident. Yet, despite the gravity of the situation, fans didn’t seem too perturbed.

When a snippet of the segment was posted to ABC World News Tonight’s Instagram account, reactions ranged from indifference to outright mockery. One viewer commented, “Are we supposed to feel bad?” while another dismissed it as a “Publicity stunt.”

Another follower questioned, “Who leaves hard drives in the car in that Atlanta heat,” and another simply stated, “WHO C A R E S ? ? ? ? With all that’s going on in the world now? ? ? ? ? OMG.”

One user even wrote, “Yawn. Even if they dropped it on my desk, I wouldn’t listen to it,” while another quipped, “Maaaaan, anyway.. I’m bout to go to the store. Yawl need anything?”

The theft took place just hours before David’s report, with USBs containing secret content stolen from a Jeep Wagoneer rented by Beyoncé’s choreographer. Police records indicate that the incident unfolded at Krog Street Market’s food hall in Atlanta on Tuesday, July 8, a mere two days prior to Beyoncé’s four-night run at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The USBs were loaded with footage, show blueprints and concert setlists.

The authorities have noted that the culprits made off with more than just unreleased tracks. They also snatched two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, upscale clothing and equipment and “sensitive material” associated with Beyoncé.

The Single Ladies hitmaker has yet to comment on the burglary. The nature of the “sensitive material” and specifics about the stolen songs are still under wraps.

Law enforcement is actively investigating the heist involving five USB sticks and has issued an arrest warrant for a suspect whose identity remains undisclosed in the reports.

This incident precedes Beyoncé, age 43, dazzling fans on Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which boasts a capacity of approximately 73,000 spectators. Her tour is anticipated to conclude with an electrifying finale at the end of July with back-to-back shows in Las Vegas.
