De-adly Overnight At-tack: Woman K-ill-ed in Her Bedroom After Sh00ter Fires Through Window
A woman in her 20s was shot and killed while sleeping in her South Los Angeles home early Sunday after someone fired through her bedroom window, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers responded to the 400 block of West 103rd Street in the Vermont Vista neighborhood at about 3:35 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside the residence. Paramedics responded to the scene, but she was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the woman was lying in bed when an unknown suspect fired at least one shot through the bedroom window, striking her.
The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of her family.
Police have not released a suspect description, and investigators have not determined whether the shooting was gang-related.
