A high-powered lawyer from a private equity firm has become the talk of the corporate world after forgetting to turn off his camera during a toilet break on a recorded Zoom call.
The senior legal eagle was on a video meeting with seven colleagues when the soul-destroying incident took place.
Footage of the meeting, which is now being shared widely across Australian blue-chip companies, begins with a man narrating the bizarre moment.
‘You’ll never guess what’s happened in a meeting,’ he says, while filming the screen.
‘Me, Stuey, everyone… Then there is this guy.’
The man can then be seen placing his laptop on the bathroom floor before lifting the toilet seat and dropping his trousers, exposing himself while apparently unaware that his camera was still rolling.
His horrified colleagues watch on as the penny finally drops.
‘Your screen is still on,’ one person can be heard saying.

‘Oh, you’re kidding,’ the lawyer responds before quickly snapping his laptop shut.
Stunned staff are then seen erupting into fits of laughter as they process what has just happened.
‘That’s lightened the mood,’ one colleague jokes.
‘That was something we didn’t need to see, but I’m sure he’ll get over it,’ another adds.
The footage has since gone viral, with the Zoom gaffe circulating among Melbourne’s corporate and legal circles.
The Daily Mail has chosen not to name the lawyer in question to save him further embarrassment.
He was contacted for comment.
