Meghan Markle is reportedly eyeing what some are calling an “ultimate revenge” move — a development that could reportedly complicate any hopes of a royal reunion

Meghan Markle eyeing up ‘ultimate revenge’ that could ‘blow royal reunion apart’

The Duchess of Sussex has long been rumoured to be working on a new move.

Meghan Markle could be set for the “ultimate revenge” if she made one move, which could blow any chances of reconciliation with the royals apart, an expert has claimed. Rumours about the Duchess of Sussex’s possible explosive memoir have been swirling for a few years now, after her husband, Prince Harry’s, memoir was released in early 2023.

Harry made headlines when Spare was released, with the book containing various accusations about the Royal Family. But three years later, there has been no confirmation about whether Meghan would end up writing a book and what that book could include. Now, a royal commentator claimed that if those rumours were to be believed, Meghan’s memoir would be “bigger than Spare”.

Woman and Home’s royal editor, Emily Andrews, said that an “ultimate first-hand account” by the duchess would not just be a “publishing phenomenon” but an “extended multi-platform event including interviews, streaming components and global rights deals”.

Ms Andrew added that the “appetite would surely be huge” and could overtake Prince Harry’s reported £16million that he got in advance of publishing his own memoir.

Reports have previously claimed the Duchess has kept a diary of a sort with a detailed record.

A publishing insider told the Daily Mail: “Voice notes on her phone at 1am. Written journals. Structured reflections. She has been documenting everything since before Megxit.”

But despite Meghan reportedly seeing the prospect of a memoir as an “opportunity for a reset,” Ms Andrews warned that the timing would be extremely “risky” as her husband is working to mend the ongoing rift with his estranged royal relatives.

She said: “Harry is desperately trying to mend his relationship with his father, King Charles, and a new Meghan memoir could derail that

“Harry wants to stabilise and improve relations with the Royal Family and is said to be pleased that Archie, seven, and Lili, five, have occasional chats and video calls with their grandfather.

“So Meghan knows a book is a risk – but it’s also leverage.”

She concluded: “You can bet your bottom dollar that much of her memoir is already written. It’s really just a question of when she’ll decide to publish.”
