Meghan Markle has been accused of making a blunder after she shared a photograph of her and Prince Harry from 2017 on a social media post looking back on this Spring. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share photographs taken over recent months.

However, fans noticed that one photograph – which shows Meghan and Harry hugging as they look ahead – was not as recent as Meghan may have wanted fans to believe.

The date the photograph was taken is visible at the top, and it shows it was taken on March 31, 2017. This has led fans to think that Meghan did not crop the photograph correctly, and may have wanted people to think it was a recent snap.

One person wrote on X: “Meghan was posting pics and accidentally didn’t crop one. She wanted us to think this photo from 2017 was recent!”

Someone else said: “This is embarrassing.”

Another person commented: “She is getting sloppy.”

Someone else wrote: “She posted 11 photos and probably realised she didn’t have a recent one with her and Harry. It was probably rushed.”

Other photographs shared on Meghan’s Instagram post yesterday were believed to have been taken recently.

This includes a photograph of Prince Harry and Prince Archie playing with a massive football, and another of Princess Lilibet wearing a Beyoncé T-shirt.

Other snaps show hatching eggs, fruit and vegetable produce from the family’s garden, and a sweet snap of one of the family’s dogs relaxing in the shade.
