Harry Continues to Be Ignored by Family: Peter Phillips’ Wedding Highlights Irreconcilable Rifts

The guest list for the wedding of Peter Phillips—son of Princess Anne—to his fiancée Harriet Sperling on June 6 has become a focal point of public attention, not due to the scale of the event, but because of the notable absence of Prince Harry.

According to royal observers, Harry being left off the guest list is not a coincidence, but rather the inevitable result of the relationship between him and his cousin that has cooled significantly over the past few years. Royal commentator Emily Nash noted to Page Six that: “I think it comes down to interpersonal relationships, doesn’t it? He wasn’t invited as a result.”.

Peter Phillips’ loyalty is reportedly firmly aligned with Prince William. Nash describes Peter as a close confidant who has consistently acted as a protective sounding board for the Prince of Wales. Consequently, Harry’s attendance was viewed as an unnecessary source of disruption.

This decision to exclude Harry is being evaluated by experts as a “smart” strategy to preserve the peace for Peter Phillips’ wedding day, preventing the event from being overshadowed by the noise from Harry’s memoir, Spare, or his previous Netflix series.

Another source told the Examiner: “It is true that in the last few years they have drifted, but Harry says he’s 100% sure William is the reason that he’s been getting the cold shoulder from Peter.”

However, this rift appears to run even deeper, as a source revealed to the Examiner that Harry does not believe this was an independent decision by Peter. Meanwhile, the event is set to proceed with the presence of William, Kate Middleton, and King Charles, underscoring a clear divide within the Royal family.
