Meghan Markle’s family is soaking up the California sun.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared a series of videos and photos on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Jan. 18, featuring her two children with Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

In the opening clip, Meghan shared a look at their backyard in Montecito, California, panning over some outdoor chairs (with a bin of chalk ready for some art to be created!) before panning over to the pool, which briefly showed her 4-year-old daughter, whom they call Lili, swimming with her mother, Doria Ragland.

The video included a glimpse at two palm trees that connect at their base. In a 2022 interview with The Cut, Meghan shared how the trees caught the eye of her husband when they toured the house.

“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” she said. “See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’ “

Other clips included Lilibet with a handwritten farmer’s market list, complete with the colorful illustrations beside each item, and Archie, 6, feeding a rhinoceros some leaves. Another snap showed Meghan giving lettuce to a giraffe, tagged at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert.

Meghan’s Instagram Stories also included the video of her and Prince Harry, 41, dancing in the grass. The Duchess of Sussex previously shared the clip to her feed on Friday, giving video credit to “our daughter.”

The dancing video was shared along with a throwback photo of Meghan and Harry on one of their first dates — a trip to Botswana in 2016.

“When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there,” she captioned the social media post, adding to the nostalgic trend of looking back a decade.

Meghan has shared numerous looks at her Montecito home since rejoining Instagram in early 2025, from glimpses of their backyard to peeks inside the kitchen.

The property has also been featured in promotional snaps for her lifestyle brand, As ever. They may featured a cameo from the family dogs, a black Labrador named Pula and a beagle named Mia, and Princess Lilibet memorably starred alongside her mom in a backyard photo that appeared on As ever’s website.

Meghan’s As ever email newsletter has also given insight into life at home with Harry, Archie and Lili.

A November newsletter looked at photos of Meghan walking through flowering sage, writing, “Those strolls, with Archie and Lili running in tow, her husband checking on the bees, Pula chasing the ball with Mia trying to keep up — those were the sun-drenched moments that made an everyday walk something a bit more magical. And that sage, that purple, that scent around the garden, was always there in the background.”
