Meghan Markle is reportedly in talks to write a bombshell book now she is back in the UK, it has been claimed. The Duchess of Sussex could follow in the footsteps of her husband Prince Harry and write a memoir sharing her side of the story over the dramas of the last few years
While Meghan, 45, has not confirmed the news of a book herself, it is believed talks are underway, with rumours swirling. Her spokesperson has denied that talks are underway. This is not the only rumour going round, with claims that Meghan may also make an acting return here in Britain. The duchess has also not responded to such claims.
Talking about the prospect of Meghan writing a book, royal expert Katie Nicholl said on The Royals Uncensored podcast: “There’s a rumour that she’s going to be writing a book. Actually, I’ve heard this repeatedly.
“ It wouldn’t surprise me at all. We know what Harry got paid for Spare. I’m sure she hasn’t completely milked her side of the story.”
Appearing as a guest on the podcast, Mark Dolan – who hosts the Mark Dolan Show – said: “Meghan could cash in now, or she could cash in as a divorcee.”

While the rumours of a book are unconfirmed, it would not be too surprising.
It has been widely suspected that the duchess would write a book about her royal experiences one day, especially as this is something her husband Harry did in 2023.
His memoir Spare created problems for the prince, and was believed to have been the final straw in his already fragile relationship with his brother Prince William.
Harry seems to have no regrets over writing Spare, despite the fact it contained many criticisms about his royal relatives.
