A journalist has claimed the Sussexes are afraid of Sarah Ferguson revealing secret conversations about their royal exit. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle famously quit royal duties and their role as senior working royals in 2020 for a new life in America.

In an explosive statement, the Sussexes said: “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.” They spoke about their idea to balance their time between the UK and North America while “continuing to honour our duty to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages”.

Tom Sykes, writer of The Royalist, has revealed how Sarah Ferguson might consider a “big money deal” to reveal information about the pair’s royal exit.

Writing in his newsletter, Sykes said: “One report even suggested Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are privately anxious that Ferguson could lift the curtain on behind-the-scenes conversations around their own exit from royal life. Courtiers, for their part, fear a ‘pulling a Harry’ scenario: a big-money deal in exchange for a narrative the institution cannot control.”

He added: “A tell-all Ferguson autobiography would be sensational. And she has already proved that she is willing to write things that upset the palace.”He further claimed she currently finds herself fully cast out from the Royal Family and “needs money”, adding “She has no official role and no access to public funds, and her charities have dropped her after the most recent Epstein files dump, calling him her ‘supreme friend’.”Sarah Ferguson attending Harry and Meghan's wedding

The journalist further added: “She also knows exactly how publishing works. Ferguson has written or co-written more than 60 titles, from children’s stories to lifestyle books, and has spent decades monetising her author name in the United States and beyond.”

Recent revelations from the Epstein files released by the Department of Justice include that Ferguson thanked the convicted sex offender for being the “brother” she “always wished for” in 2009, and that she “humbly” apologised to her “dear friend” a month after publicly disowning him in 2011.
