Peter Phillips ‘contacted Prince Harry’ about lack of wedding invite friend claims

Peter Phillips is set to marry Harriet Sperling tomorrow in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The pair, who have been publicly dating for a few years, will exchange wedding vows at All Saints Church in Cirencester.
They will then reportedly head to Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s estate, for their wedding reception. While the wedding will be an intimate occasion, it is expected that a number of royals will be in attendance. This will reportedly include King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as Prince William and Princess Catherine.
However, reports suggest that Peter has not invited his cousin Prince Harry, who moved to Montecito in 2020 after quitting royal life.
This is despite the fact the cousins once shared a close bond.
While Peter has not revealed why he did not invite Harry, it has been rumoured that it is because the cousins don’t keep in frequent contact with one another.
It is also believed that Peter did not invite Harry as Prince William will be in attendance, and Harry and William – once close brothers – have famously been estranged for some time.

A royal expert has said that Peter has not snubbed Harry completely, and has instead – according to sources – actually contacted The Duke of Sussex to explain why he did not receive an invite to the big day.
Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast, host Katie Nicholl said that she was told this by a source who knows Peter well.
She said: “They (the source) suspected Peter had probably contacted Harry, and would have spoken to him, and would have made it clear that in any other circumstance he would have loved him there, but it would just be too awkward.”
Harry has not commented publicly about the lack of invite to his cousin’s wedding.
