Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has announced that he is leaving the US, just as new disturbing documents featuring his father-in-law, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, have emerged in the newly released Epstein files. Mr Mapelli Mozzi took to his official Instagram account to post a new story showing an airport terminal and the message: “Goodbye LA”.
He previously shared that he was “treasure hunting” in LA back in December; however, this appears to be a new trip as he was pictured alongside his wife and the rest of the royals on Christmas Day in Sandringham. Edo’s trips to the US are most likely associated with his interiors business, Banda Property.
His return to the UK comes at a crucial time for his wife, who is facing a challenging period following the latest revelations about her father, the disgraced former Duke of York, who was whisked away to Norfolk from Windsor during the night.

The US Department of Justice released more than three million documents relating to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, several of which featured both Beatrice’s parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not suggest any wrongdoing.
The latest batch of released files saw Beatrice’s father pictured on all fours while kneeling over an unidentified woman on the floor, while emails showed who appeared to be Andrew, asking Epstein whether he could be his “pet,” among other disturbing details.
It came as police said they were assessing allegations that a woman was sent to the UK by Epstein for a sexual encounter with Andrew.
Lawyers representing the woman have urged the King to contact them following allegations that their client was sent to the UK for a sexual encounter with his brother.

Brad Edwards, from the US firm Edwards Henderson, previously told the BBC his client had spent the night with Andrew after being given a tour of Buckingham Palace.
In a statement, a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of reports about a woman said to have been taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes.
“We are assessing the information in line with our established procedures. We take any reports of sexual crimes extremely seriously and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
“At this time, these allegations have not been reported to Thames Valley Police by either the lawyer or their client.”
Andrew vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
