EXCLUSIVE: Sarah Ferguson was issued a dire warning by a PR expert amids the latest Epstein scandal.

Sarah Ferguson could only find redemption by following one simple rule after the latest wave of humiliation she faced when the new Jeffrey Epstein files were released, a PR expert has claimed. The former Duchess of York, who found herself with no titles and no property to call home due to her friendship with the late convicted paedophile, was dragged further into the Epstein row after the US Department of Justice released millions more documents relating to his case.
Many of these documents featured Fergie, as she is otherwise known, and saw her sending many embarrassing emails to Epstein about her finances, her children and overall life. Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not suggest any wrongdoing.
Despite that, a PR expert claimed that Ms Ferguson, unlike her disgraced former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, could make somewhat of a comeback in the future, only if she follows a particular strategy.

Renae Smith, founder of PR and branding agency The Atticism, told the Express that the former duchess should lay low and show “restraint, dignity, and distance”.
She also advised her to steer clear of any “reinvention” plans she reportedly has and wait until the public are open to it.
Ms Smith explained: “For Fergie, the guidance would be to separate her identity from his as much as possible, but quietly.
“No declarations, no public statements, no attempt at explanations of her emails admiring Jeffrey, no press-led repositioning.
“Let time do the work. Silence is not weakness here. It is the least damaging option.”
Comparing Ms Ferguson’s current situation with that of her ex-husband’s, the expert said: “Fergie’s situation is actually more complex, but in my opinion, still very constrained. From what’s publicly available, there is nothing I have seen that suggests direct wrongdoing on her part.

“Admiration or proximity to Jeffrey Epstein reflects very questionable judgment, but not equivalence. That said, of course optics matter.”
She added: “If I were advising her, I would be strongly discouraging any idea of a reinvention or comeback at this point.
“This is not the moment to go large, reposition, or seek visibility. That would be a serious misread of public sentiment.”
Ms Smith said the “correct approach” would be to show “restraint, dignity, and distance,” as reinvention “only works when the public is open to it. Right now, they are not.”
She concluded: “I think it would be career suicide to try anything this year, and perhaps even next.
“It really depends on how all of this plays out – but for now, absolutely not. No way.”
Fergie appeared to be making a grim comment about her own daughter, Princess Beatrice, when emails showed that she spoke to Epstein about waiting for the princess to come back from a “s******g weekend”.
Other documents indicated that she took both Princess Beatrice and Eugenie to see the disgraced sex offender following his release in 2009.
The bombshell documents also revealed that Epstein had wired various payments to the former Duchess, including a £109,000 transfer in 2001.
Ms Ferguson has not commented on the newly released Epstein files.
